Car Trader Clocking

My insurance, want to "write off my car ', but the cost of repair is less than the insurance settlement.
The car is a Peugeot 206 1.1 Style, 5 door, 02 plate 25,000 miles (low mileage for age). The assurances are offered £ 3300, (and may be reluctant to increase the first offer and only) Cost of repair £ 2448.33 excl VAT (2876.79 incl VAT, which, after deduction of my £ 220 excess comes to 2656.79 pounds) So, my questions i would ask everyone …. 1. I wish my car, so can I insist on it to be repaired? 2. Is £ 3300 offer good? (Car similar statements on Auto Trader was £ 3695, with the only difference being the power windows and 35,000 miles on the clock thank you) Many
