BCS National Championship Game
Florida (12-1) vs. Oklahoma (12-1)
FOX - 8:30 PM
Florida: Buy Short Oklahoma: Buy Short
We will get this thing rolling as we move towards kickoff.
That was an interesting National Anthem.
The Sooners will take the ball first.
Our first review of the night, and the play stands as a catch.
And the Gators hold on the opening drive and will take over at their 20.
Another review - not sure what we are looking at.
The first turnover of the night, and tebow4prez probably just cut himself.
Great throw and catch, but the hold will bring it back.
The Gators dodge the bullet and get the ball back at their 13.
The 1st quarter ends scoreless, with the Gators driving.
The Gators strike first, Tebow to Murphy and the 7-0 lead.
The Sooners answer right back - Bradford to Gresham to tie it 7-7.
After another Tebow pick, the Sooners have good field position.
The announcers have no idea what down it is
And on 4th and goal the Gators hold!
Nasty looking injury to Rainey.
The Gators punt it back to Oklahoma, who will try to put their 2 minute drill to use.
And the Gators get the huge pick at the goal line with 3 seconds remaining!!
We head to the half tied at 7.
We are set to kickoff with the Gators taking the ball first.
Gators punt and the Sooners will start at their own 12.
The Sooners line up to punt it back - and after each team takes a time out the Gators rough the kicker and give the Sooners the first down.
Oklahoma fails to take advantage of the penalty and punts it back to Florida, who will start at their own 25.
Harvin in the "wild-gator" formation takes it in from the 1 for a 14-7 lead late in the 3rd.
Attempting a 49 yard field goal, the Sooners have it blocked by Florida.
The Gators punt to start the 4th quarter, and the Sooners need to finish a drive.
Oklahoma, with the aid of some Gator penalties, gets in the red zone again.
Gresham loses a shoe and scores anyway - score tied at 14 with 12:13 to go.
It appears that Harvin's ankle is going to hold up, as he races 52 yards to flip the field.
I spoke too soon.
The Gators add the 28 yard field goal to take the lead 17-14 with 10:45 remaining.
Unbelievable interception for the Gators.
Tebow to Nelson may have just put this one on ice - Gators lead 24-14.
The Gators run out the clock and win the title. More ED fun tomorrow!

how about either 8 seeded playoffs with the big east, big ten, big 12, sec, pac 10, and acc winners getting automatic bids and 2 wild cards.
or 12 teams with 6 wilds cards and the top 4 teams get byes.
or 16 teams with those 6 bids and perhaps a couple of bids for smaller conferences that possibly can merge. that way the first round matchups can be easy for the 1 seeds and that way we can have george mason's in football.
or anything as long as its not bowls.
It is odd they are both down, but the winner is definately the #1 guarantee at this price.
zeeeep - the "giving him the business" origibated in a 1970's NFL game - the ref said it then too.
It feels as if both prices are like a magnet towards 19% and when they break from it any release (cover, sell) sends them scrambling back towards that mark
I mean, FL goes up 7 and the kicker isn't even out yet and OK doesn't do shit but go up?? come on.
It almost feels like it's gone in reverse.
I know that they set a price for everything to boomerang towards. and it sucks.
Game just got quite boring trading wise, I hope the alg' didn't get screwed for NFL since they've put adjustments there too
